FAM Rules

#1. Members are not to cause clashes within, or outside of, the FAM.
Immediate expulsion will be served to members who deliberately act against the best interests of the FAM. Troublemakers are not appreciated in ~MesmerisE~.

#2. Personal/private matters should stay personal and private.
They should not be brought into, or interfere with, FAM matters. In elaboration, it pertains to any individual wants that may be deemed to be of selfish beneficiary nature, and goes against the welfare of the FAM. Exploitation of the FAM for personal-related gains will not be tolerated.

#3. Entry into the FAM is subject to the approval, and discretion, of the 5 committee members with a majority positive vote from FAM members.

#4. ~MesmerisE~ functions as a close-knit family, not as a cold and impersonal guild.
This is due to the entwining bonds of friendship and camaraderie amongst all members. Those who seek to enter FAM without this appropriate mindset will not be welcomed.

#5. All new ~MesmerisE~ entrants must pledge at least two million dens to the FAM Bank.
An obligatory lump sum of 500,000 dens (reviewed on a case-by-case basis) is payable immediately upon entry.

for the upcoming patch on 20/8, i'm not sure if the FAM battle addition is mode or event. but im guessing mode ^^

was surfing around, and i don't know if this will be the version implemented, but the following is lifted from posts by firingsquad in youtube:

Q: Can you please tell us what this dance mode is about?

A: On Korean Audition, you can make your own family, which is like a guild. You accumulate fam points by playing in full rooms, and if you win, you receive a fam point. When you get 100 points, your fam can access the fam battle mode.

The fam splits up into teams, either 6 members of one fam dividing into teams, or 3 members of 2 separate fams going head to head. You can choose sync-4, sync-8, crazy-4 or crazy-8, pick the song and the chance levels, and then play it like a normal game.

If you're playing against your own fam, you won't lose any fam points, but if you're playing against another fam, the winner takes the amount of fam points at the top of the screen (decided by how far apart the scores are) and the loser loses that amount of fam points.

As for the Ace Fever segment of the mode - each person playing gets a bar which is filled by perfects and greats. Cools, bads and misses will decrease it. The person with the highest bar gets to be the ace and come up front to go against the other ace. The aces, however, will just do all the moves as per normal, and there's no special reason to be the ace other than if you wanna be up front.
